Part-Time Shopify Data & PO Coordinator (Remote)
Part-Time Shopify Data & PO Coordinator (Remote)
Status: Part-time, hourly, fully remote (suggest 10–15 hrs/week, flexible schedule)
Compensation: $16–$24/hour, depending on experience
Reports to: Business Owner
Role Summary
LoCo Tri needs a remote, part-time coordinator to keep our Shopify store data and purchase order process clean and up to date. This is a focused, ongoing accuracy role — not a path toward broader operations management — ideal for someone who wants steady, well-defined part-time hours.
Core Responsibilities:
Shopify Data Entry & Maintenance:
Create and update product listings (titles, descriptions, variants, images, pricing)
Maintain accurate inventory counts across all variants; investigate and resolve discrepancies (negative stock, blank-title items, untracked SKUs)
Ensure new products are fully tagged, categorized, and searchable before going live
Purchase Orders:
Create and track POs with vendors/brands (Cervélo, BMC, Factor, Argon 18, Specialized, Assos, Garmin, etc.)
Reconcile received inventory against POs; flag shortages, damages, or pricing mismatches
Keep PO status organized (received, partial, backordered)
Inventory Accuracy:
Regular remote audits of system counts vs. what staff report on hand
Support periodic full inventory reconciliation working from staff-provided counts
Reporting:
Flag recurring data issues or vendor discrepancies to ownership
Maintain simple documentation/checklists so the process is repeatable
Scope Boundaries:
This is a data/admin role, not a decision-making or vendor-negotiation role
No in-store presence required — all work done remotely against Shopify, PO records, and vendor communications
Scope is intentionally limited to data entry, POs, and inventory accuracy — not broader marketing, merchandising, or strategy work
Ideal Candidate:
Detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive accuracy-focused work
Shopify experience preferred (or fast learner with e-commerce systems background)
Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
Self-directed — able to work independently on a remote, part-time schedule
Cycling/triathlon/retail industry familiarity a plus, not required
Success Looks Like:
Inventory counts match reality across variants
POs are entered, tracked, and reconciled without backlog
Fewer stockouts/overstock surprises
Data errors get caught before they become a problem
